Britches, by Boots Tyner
Boots Tyner Dolls. Boots Tyner
created the most beloved baby doll in recent history - Sugar Britches
(on the left above). Boots dressed her in a sweet eyelet dress and
bonnet, tights and baby shoes. When she was introduced at a doll convention
in California, everyone fell in love with her. Molds to make the porcelain
head and hands quickly sold out and have been in demand ever since.
A few years later Boots sculpted an awake version called 'Good Morning
Sugar Britches' shown above, right.
Boots generously gave us permission to print and sell patterns for
the clothing she designed for Sugar Britches, as well as all of her
other dolls.

they include all of the basic wardrobe needs of your favorite baby,
too. Pictures above show some of the possible combinations. Clothes
and shoe patterns W1 through W5 will fit real babies 4-5 lbs.
