Through the years I have received many wonderful letters and pictures from my customers. I have always wished there was a way to share them with others. Finally, I can do that! Thank you to all those who have been kind enough to
share photographs of dolls they have made using our patterns. We'd
like to invite everyone to submit photos for our Customer Made Doll
Gallery. Carolee Marcia Moore made a whole Cheerleading Squad to represent her daughter's high school group. She used yarn hair and the school colors. The girls loved them!
Beverly Couch made these adorable Doll House Dolls using the whole set of doll house doll patterns from Carolee.
Kathy Walter writes" I made my first Sew Sweet Doll, Baby Sister, for my grand daughter Jenny's first birthday and oh! how she loved her. My 88 year old mother-in-law never had a doll, so for Christmas I made her Baby Love. I dressed her in a Christmas print and she was loved instantly. Thanks for all the joy and pleasure your patterns have given me through 10 years of doll making." Shown below - Sugar and Spice hugged by Macy.
Lucille Viland created a whole baseball team! She made a Chip doll for each of her grandsons. Her granddaughters each received a Valentine doll. Look's like they are Cubs Fans!!
Maureen Medley wrote "I've been buying your patterns since your catalog consisted of a series of black and white photos, stapled together! I've made lots of different kinds of dolls, but the Carolee Creations have always been the most popular. Kimmie and Joy are two favorites.
Dear Carolee, Here is a picture of Puddin and Baby Sister.. I have ordered patterns from several other places. I find your patterns much better and easier to work with. I am 74 years old and love making the dolls for pleasure, but they have sold as fast as I finish them! Sincerely, H C Sanders
Pamela Dunn made this cute Apple
Cheek Doll. Don't you just want to squeeze her? Ann Allen writes "I have made the Katie doll and others, for the past 2 - 3 years. I even turned the cheerleader into a track star wearing our school colors and Nike shoes! When a new shop opened in town I was asked to put my dolls in the shop. The first day the shop opened I sold two and have stayed busy from that point on! I'm lucky to have a husband that works in wood! He made a rack and hangers for the little clothes. Now they are in the shop, too. My red headed Katie tries on all the clothes."
Dellene Dubbelde sent in several pictures. Two of my favorites, Bridget and Calvin, are below. She has made dolls for gifts, for sale, and donated them for Church Bazaars. The Church held a raffle for one, which was great fun and profitable.
Several Doll Makers have won Aawards with dolls made from SewSweet Dolls patterns.
These dolls were made by someone whose name we lost,
but they are so cute, we wanted to share them. If you are the dollmaker,
please let us know, so we can give you credit! more to come . . . 120 N York Rd - Suite 202
